Beach Chic Save the Date!

When Ashley contacted me she had a fabulous inspiration board of all the romantic and southern details she wanted to have at her Rosemary Beach wedding this spring. The girl had a plan, and I love that! One specific thing that she wanted for her Save the Dates was a hand drawn sketch of the church where she is to be married. Having not only a design degree but an art background, I was jumping at the chance to sit down and sketch (something I need to do more often)!

We added a linen background, subtle beach colors and whimsical type styles as well as the wedding information on the reverse side to complete this darling save the date!

I can't wait to finish all the details that Ashley has in mind!

Return to Sender....2012 Postage Rates!

Just when you think you've gotten all your invitations ordered and your budget has been finalized you realize that, 'oh no, now I have to pay $450 for postage!' Postage for invitations is usually overlooked when you plan your budget, so be sure to stay in the know! This is key especially if you have a very thick invitation, and odd size (like a square) or even if you're sending out postcards for RSVP's. Be aware of all these things.

As of Saturday, the US Postage Service just raised postage rates on most of their services, including regular mail for regular envelopes. So to help you (and maybe save a little trip to the post), I made a little cheat sheet :

Some clients of mine have ordered a sample of their entire suite to take to the post office to confirm how much mailing will actually cost, which is probably wise. Just be sure you have postage in mind when you're either setting budgets or designing an out of the box invitation suite!

2012 Pantone Spring Color Forecast Revealed!

Pantone released their 2012 spring color forecast and I am so excited! Not only are there pops of brights but there is a return of delicate pastels! These colors will be sure to make their impact on weddings this year! I already have seen a surge in purple and yellow!

I'm especially excited for the Color of the Year: Tangerine Tango. As an Auburn fan you buy up any orange you find, so now there will be plenty of fashionable choices on the rack!

I did a quick Pinterest search for Tangerine Tango and look what I found on Wedding Wire's blog! My Kumquat and Peach Silhouette invitation suite! You can view the whole shoot here at 100 layer cake!

Our first Bridal Show Experience...

We attended our very first super fancy bridal show a couple weeks ago, and while I've been to several as a bride or attendee, but I've never been the only vendor marketing to potential brides! So the pressure was on! (Self inflicted, but pressure non the less!). I originally had elaborate plans for huge walls with magnetic paint, but as I was telling my husband this and seeing his eyes get big with dread and doubt (he is the residential handy man around these parts) I knew my plan of attack would have to be a little different. Lo and behold on a trip home for the holidays my father-in-law said he had some aluminum framing and such for trade shows his company had done previously and I was more than welcome to take them. And voila we had walls! I had to buy fabric and a banner and thank the good Lord that he created velcro to keep everything adhered to the frames, but we had a perfect booth. I had a plan in mind to show the brides how to 'brand' their wedding. Simply meaning to keep a consistent design and style throughout with details! My plan was to use 4 designs I have previously done, display on the walls and then create a mini table scape.

I definitely think for 'paper' companies I set myself apart. Most display every invitation they've ever done. Which I guess is good, but I'm more focused on quality vs. quantity. I got great 'reviews' from the brides and vendors and I had a lot of fun. Even my feet didn't hate me too much at the end!

PS - The ONLY issue I had was that brides (or their relatives) kept stealing my fan programs from the display! I eventually clipped on a sign that said 'Display only, please do not take, thank you!' and guess what? Someone snagged that one too, with the 'do not take' sign on it! I mean seriously? Thankfully before they were all taken I tied the rest to the basket with ribbon!

Be True Designs Swanky Gold Inspiration Shoot!

Some point before Thanksgiving we were asked to be a part of an inspiration shoot for Enchanted Brides Magazine. Obviously I said yes because it gave us the opportunity to get published and because we got to work with some pretty awesome vendors, (especially the amazing Tara from Dixie Pixel) and because the concept was so swanky and chic that we couldn't resist!

Tara came up with a Pinterest board and we took inspiration from there:

An invitation suite with bright gold accents on thick ecru paper was created and we focused the details on the them of wine (since the venue was on the river at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and the center piece was tons of candle lit wine bottles):

I really do love Tennessee! I was talking to someone the other day about my studio and how I wanted some really cool prints to hang on the walls. Prints that are personal and have to do with design and our state.

Wedding Wednesday: It's in the Bag!

When guests are traveling in to your wedding its such a special touch to place a 'welcome tote' in their hotel rooms! Fill the totes with waters, snacks, maps of the town, wedding itineraries, and any other touches from where you're getting hitched!

And you don't have to stick with a personalized tote bag, you can use a basket with a custom tag, a paper bag with a label, a paint pale or even a personalized box with goodies! Here are my favorites:

Well hello friends, I have decided to come rejoin you after a week or so self imposed blog vacation and labor day holiday! And lo and behold, when I returned I found a shoot I recently did with two of my favorites, Julie Roberts Photography and Ruffles and Rouge Events on Rustic Wedding Chic blog!

The original idea came from an escort card challenge but quickly grew into something way bigger! We took something that might be a little taboo like tobacco and made it into a fabulous down home wedding reception with rustic and southern charm! I think my favorite shots are of the fruit flavored drinks in the mason jars!

Be True Designs : Custom Weddings : Rustic Tree

Zac and Kristina were to be married under a tree in Nashville, symbolic of their new lives together rooted in love. When Kristina came to me she knew she wanted a tree on their wedding paper and she wanted to focus on the colors orange and green. (Later she snuck in purple at the wedding). Here is the invitation set we came up with:

The invitations was adhered to a tangelo pocket, which was filled with the rsvp postcard and map information of the wedding venue. A custom monogram can be seen 'carved' on the tree and the K + Z was something that they carried all throughout the wedding.

For the programs we did a simple fan on a stick, perfect for a evening wedding in May!The reception site was filled with chic white sofas and ottomans topped with colorful pillows that adorned the K+Z monogram:

The cupcake boxes were labeled with multi color stickers:

Even the couple's cake carried the K+Z monogram!

Be True Designs: Southern Flourish Wedding Invitations

Jenn is on of my most enjoyable Be True Design clients to date! The girl is on top of things and I'm actually crashing (i.e. helping Ruffles and Rouge Events) her wedding just so I can see how beautiful everything is going to turn out.

A few things I can't wait to see (some I've designed!)- hand made wooden tables with burlap and lace tablecloths, southern sayings for table numbers, corn hole boards and bocce ball areas, custom cocktails, sandalwood fans with tag programs and hand drawn map totes for the guests!

And really, that is not even scratching the surface!

So for Jenn's invitations, she wanted to set the mood of this amazing affair. While she wanted letterpress, we opted for a letterpress paper with flat printing in a nice slate grey. Flourishes bleed of the paper to add a little southern flair! The slate grey liner and RSVP envelope are in metallic which bring in a touch of formality while the hand sewn pocket says 'down home goodness'.

Here is just a few snippets of this invitation and its coordinating pieces. I'll be sure to show you all the amazing-ness of the wedding after September!

I have worked with Mary Louis since the 1st birthday of her little girl last year, but her 2nd birthday party has definitely topped the cuteness scale! She was going to have an 'under the Sea' party and wanted something to match Curran's adorable bathing suit:

Here's what we came up with for invitations and favor tags (I loved using the gingham for an extra detail on the back!):

She did monogrammed beach towels for favors:

The party was held in their backyard full of pools and water games for the kids:

They even made the cake to coordinate with the invite (served with Goldfish of course!)

And my favorite part, is Mary Louis' dad made a 'Go Fish' game for the kids to play:

Be True Designs: Little Man Party

Megan wanted a super fun theme birthday for her son's 2nd birthday. She came up with a 'Little Man Tie and Mustache Bash!' She wanted lots of stripes and polka dots and to stay in the color palette of orange, blue and green. Here's what we came up with:

After the invitation was designed we did cupcake pics in the shapes of mini ties and the number 2! (She did the cake banner and the adorable bibs for all the kiddo's in attendance ):

The menu included Bow tie Pasta and PB&J's shaped like ties. We made some food tent cards and napkin wraps:
Finally, all the guests were sure to leave with a tie shaped cookie, that included a thank you favor tag from Tripp:

Such a cute idea for a party for a little boy!

Summer Reading List

Remember when you were younger and you had a summer reading list that seemed a mile long? Most would panic, but I loved it! I never read Cliff notes unless it was a hard book that made no sense to me (i.e. Beowulf) . I spent the summer reading while I travelled from one relative to the next. Well vacation is coming up and I have declared it Summer Reading list time once more! Here are a few that I'll be picking up at the bookstore on my way out of town:

First on the list is The Help. I have actually had this book in my possession since the beginning of the summer but have had no time to start it, so I've been saving it specifically for the beach. I also can't wait to see the movie after I read it!

I've heard nothing but good things about Bossypants. I mean is it possible to love Tina Fey any more than I already do?

Next up will have to be some business reading with The Purple Cow and Crush It! Seems like everyone I know in a creative business have read the next two books, so I feel a little behind. I hope that they will give me a huge jolt of creativity and re-energize the passion for my business:

Cold Sassy Tree was actually on my summer reading list (circa 1996-ish) and it was one of my favorites. I think I might pick it up again.

I read Eat, Pray, Love last summer and actually enjoyed it (seems like you either liked it or hated it). Committed is a follow up to that novel, so I'm interested to see where it goes.

And finally, I might pick up The Hunger Games. Because you can't go the beach with some good ole young adult fiction!

So I'm a little bummed. Not in my every day life, but in my creative life. You know the thing that I am currently trying to make a living off of? (I can hear my husband laughing at that). Anyways, back to me and my non creativity. I'm just in a rut. It literally hurts to be creative (Ok, that might be a little dramatic, but you get the idea).

I have a huge inspiration board in front of me every day and its not working. I have a 100+ creative wedding/party/interiors/fashion/design blogs I read daily and its not working. I have been meeting with clients who have amazing wedding and events planned and thats not even working. I think there is one thing that will jump start my mind and get me back on track. It seems so far away, but I guess it's nearer to me now then it was 10 mins ago. The cure, you ask?:

Sorry for the lack of posting this week, someone in town had decided to piss off mother nature and her vengeance on Knoxville caused massive power and internet outages all week. Definitely made me realize my reliance on modern technology when I had some major withdrawals from it.

So once the power and internet came back on, I started doing some research for a logo I'm working on. I've been looking into vintage ephemera. What is ephemera? Well wikipedia describes it as " transitory written and printed matter not intended to be retained or preserved. The word derives from the Greek, meaning things lasting no more than a day. Some collectible ephemera are advertising trade cards, airsickness bags, bookmarks, catalogues, greeting cards, letters, pamphlets, postcards, posters, prospectuses, stock certificates, tickets and zines."

I describe it as beautiful vintage frames, inspirations and typography!

Designer Albin Holmovist was commissioned by EF International Language Centers to create typographic logotypes for some of their worldwide destinations. I love how each one really represents its city with the style of the text and the small icons. These would make great travel posters!

Rewind & Rewed - The Dress

Part two of my Rewind & Rewed series - the dress. This is a hard one, because I really really liked my dress. It had a beaded bodice and was A-line with a small train, just a little fancy, but not over the top. It fit perfectly and we got a pretty good deal on it keeping the price under $800.

I think now though, I would head for something simpler. Something with wrapping or capped sleeves. Here's a few of my favorites:

Summer Loving...

Ok, lets get this party started:

1. I was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Home of the Blues, Elvis and the best bar-b-que under the sun!

2. Somehow out of a high school graduating class of 700+ I was only one of 3 (the only girl) to travel to Auburn University for college. I absolutely love this place. Its definitely special, Auburn grads have this weird family connection with other grads and the school. I originally went to study Architecture, but ended up graduating in Graphic Design.

3. I was in a sorority in college and met these crazy girls, they ended up being my roommates for the last 2 years of school. As of last year everyone is officially married off and we all live in different far away cities (Knoxville, Charleston, Birmingham and Baton Rouge) but we always manage to have a summer girls trip and catch up during football season!

4. In 2005 I married my best friend. No really, he has been my friend since 6th grade. We never dated in high school, although we were prom dates (next time I'll share that pic!), but somehow we ended up together after middle school, high school and 4 years in college. It was pretty much fate. Here's a pic after we just got engaged in Downtown Atlanta. I heart him more and more each day!

5. I name my cars. Well, seeing that I've only had two in my lifetime, its not much of a big deal, but still. My first car was Bernice. She was a lovely lil Blue Saturn that my parents handed down to me. Then I got Pearl. Her official name is 'The Black Pearl'. She is the best! I always wanted a Jeep so when I finally got one, my heart was content!

6. This is what I wake up to every morning.

This is Jackson Boo Haines (Jackson because we got him when we lived in Jacksonville and Boo because he came to us on Halloween). He is literally the best dog in the world and makes me us happy! We're already in talks to get him a brother (of the fur variety)!

7. The husband and I don't fight, but if we do, its at Auburn/Tennessee football games. See he went to Tennessee and I went to Auburn. Sadly for him (but awesome for me) Tennessee hasn't beaten Auburn since we started dating. We have had many a fight in the stands because of this. Usually we don't even attempt to sit together, but this pic was at the last game and we look like we're getting along pretty good!

Be True Designs: Custom Weddings: Pink and Teal Roses

I worked with a wonderful mother recently who was taking charge of helping with wedding details while her daughter was busy going to school, working, coaching cheerleaders and planning a wedding! She was a delight to work for! Lindsey loved the color pink, and was using it with teal, champagne and roses as her wedding inspiration. I found an amazing frame and added some rose details to really make the design ornate. We also used a large metallic 6x9 pocket folder to hold the invitations, reply, reception and direction cards. The large scale paper with the metallic paper really make an impression!

Rewind & Rewed - The Color Palette

Part one of my Rewind & Rewed series - the color palette. When I was engaged in 2005, I worked at a retail store who's colors were bright pink and orange. Maybe that was the way the idea got in my head for my wedding colors, but I like to think it wasn't and that it was this picture I found in one of my first wedding magazines ( I still have this in an inspiration binder!). I remember seeing this picture and a light bulb popping on over my head. This is it. I wanted a 'sherbet orange with a purple-ish pink'. The one thing I love about it is that the colors were just so lively.

Fast forward to 2011. I'm no longer surrounded by pink and orange in my work space (thank goodness!). I have definitely changed my color and design aesthetic in the past 6 years. I obviously love green, but I'm also digging a subtle teal blue color with a silver or mercury glass accent. I found this image as an inspiration. While the husband and I are not canoe people my any means, we do love the lake and my most relaxing and fond memories are at dusk on a boat in a lake somewhere. So there you go, the new inspiration is a lake wedding. And I think the new colors fit perfectly.

Sorry to be lacking on the posts, after our trip to the Delta of Mississippi (gorgeous wedding btw!) I returned and have been sick ever since! It's no fun, but I'm starting to recover!

Anyway, I wanted to share my major designer crush... on Cheree Berry! Not only did she used to work for Kate Spade as their art director, but while there she was in charge of designing their signature stationery and wedding invitations through Crane and Co. Now she has lives in St. Louis and has her own line of paper, which I have been obsessing over for the past couple years now. I just love her style and her simple yet bold approach to invitation design. Here's a few of her new pieces:

Be True Designs : Custom Save the Date : A Southern Affair

This weekend we're heading to Mississippi to attend a fabulous southern wedding. The groom is a good friend of both B and mine from high school and B's frat brother in college. The bride hails from Greenwood, Mississippi. It's a small quaint town in the middle of the Mississippi Delta that supposedly has amazing character and great history, and I can't wait to explore it!

Shelby wanted her wedding to reflect her love for her hometown and its rustic charm. So we opted for a Save the Date postcard that has a vintage style. The antique map of Mississippi highlights Greenwood, and the text on the back is reminiscent of the days of old!

Congrats Green and Shelby! Can't wait to attend this beautiful southern affair!

Rewind & Rewed - The same wedding 6 yrs later!

On a daily basis I am bombarded with all things wedding, I have clients that are new brides, I read wedding blogs and just last week I watched a fabulous royal wedding on the telly!

It always gets me thinking though. When I got married (about 6 yrs ago) I feel like the 'industry' was just starting to get good. Journalistic photography was making its entrance, aDIY wedding was kind of unheard of, heck, Style me Pretty wasn't even around! So if I could rewind and do my wedding over knowing what I know now, would it be different? I know that my styles have changed, but would the feel and theme of my wedding change too? Well I plan to find out! Over the next 8 weeks until my 6th anniversary in June, I'm going to have a Rewind & Rewed feature on the blog. Just a little something to see what I would do different when it comes to:

- the dress

- the colors

- the cake

- the bridesmaids

- the invitations and paper goods

- the food

- the location

- the favors and guest treats

No don't get me wrong, I LOVED my wedding. It was exactly what I wanted. But I told my poor husband as soon as we got the honeymoon that I wanted to do it all over again! I guess if we ever do these posts will have me prepared!

No I did not wake up at 5 a.m. to catch the royal wedding, I did however wake up in time to see the dress and the kisses on the balcony! So cute! And as I'm working right now I have the rebroadcast on, just to catch up! I love love love Kate's dress. Very Grace Kelly-ish with a modern twist. And she and Wills truly look happy, I'm sure Diana would be proud!

Be True Designs: Inspired Wedding Suite : Nautical

It seems everywhere I go lately there are nautical themes, in fashion, in decor and now in weddings! I came across this fabulous picture the other day and thought it makes for a great nautical themed wedding inspiration:

Here's a wedding suite and some other details I designed based off the inspiration photo:

I used the bright primary colors and played with stripes and knots. I think a knot handle tote bag would be the perfect welcome gift for guests to this weeding!

On a side note, I am devastated by all the destruction the south has been put through the past 2-3 days. I spent about 5 years of my life in Alabama going to school at Auburn, so my heart aches for all my many friends and family who are recovering today. We were blessed that East Tennessee didn't take too hard of a hit (power lines, trees and power down). I ask that you take a moment to be thankful to God for what you have and to donate your time or resources to the Red Cross or any other organization that will be assisting in the recovery efforts.

I was very honored to be asked by Shanna Jestice of Ruffles and Rouge Events to provide some stationery for a workshop that Julie Roberts Photography was doing earlier this month. Julie just posted some amazing shots on her blog here, but these are a few of my favorites:

I am in love with the die cut invitation. Die cut is such a great way to add a little something extra to your invitation. I also added a diagonal striped liner that creates some whimsy when you open the envelope!

Look at these yummy treats! A Sherbet bar at a wedding? Yes please! Here's a shot of the fun bottle label I did. Stayed with the fabulous die cut shape and diagonal stripe theme:

Be True Designs : Custom Weddings : Pink and Green Floral

Amanda is having an intimate wedding with close friends and family at Chateau Elan in Georgia next weekend. She is from Mississippi and her fiance is from Tennessee so she wanted Be True Designs to create something that was a little bit casual but still showed some southern flare! Her colors are honeysuckle pink and green. We started with her save the date design, which you can view here. Then it was time for the invitation suite. Amazingly enough we got the design right on the first shot and were able to coordinate all the additional items she needed. Here is the wedding suite:

The welcome bag for the guests is my favorite part! Not only will they have a tote with a custom label, but she's adding custom water bottles, an itinerary and pink and green koozies!

She's also planning to mix in some treats from her home town and Moon Pie's for his. Such a great idea. I love the idea of showcasing the history and traditions of where you're from in your wedding, even if its just adding some sweets to a welcome bag!

Color Theory: A Pantone kind of life!

For the non designer out there you may not know that most every color of the spectrum is tagged and marked by a number and corresponding formula. You can thank Pantone's Color Matching System for that. It's the best way to make sure that the red coke can you get in Knoxville is the same exact color as the one you'd pick up in Thailand. Some Pantone colors are even trademarked and can't be reproduced (like a super fancy blue for a store where diamonds and dreams happen...Tiffany's) For me its the best way to get accurate colors for clients, such as when a client wants a color from a bridesmaids dress swatch to put on an invitation. I recently came across some awesome Pantone inspired products. I personally LOVE the cookies, and wouldn't care what color I got!

Style Icon: Kelly Wearstler

Have you ever heard of Kelly Wearstler? You haven't? Well you're missing out. I first saw her as a judge on a Bravo's show Top Design. She was a bit quirky in her design and fashion, but I love it. She is someone who is 'no holds bar', with 'no apologies' for her design skills and ideas, and I respect that a lot. Its someone who I'm constantly striving to be in my own design life.

Anyways I just got some of her books: Hue and Modern Glamour to have in our 'library' at home and once again I'm in love. But the most amazing thing that I've found is her blog My Vibe My Life. My favorite part shows her studio and process. She has a room full of trays. Each tray collects the inspiration for that project. You can see in the picture how big of a space and how many trays there are.

And here's what she says about them :

"My creative process is about experimentation, taking risks and having a free spirit. I approach each project with the intent to make it beautiful and give it soul. I have trays for each project where I gather vibe inspiration like materials from my library, new elements of beauty – anything that catches my eye. Each tray represents a space in a project. They are constantly evolving and keep me organized. The trays become little collections of each project."

And whats in those trays are mini masterpieces of goodness:

I'm thinking of taking this approach in my own studio. No room for trays, but maybe some square's of cork on a wall might do the trick!

Knoxville Wedding Inspiration Shoot: Cameo and Persimmon

Yesterday Be True Designs had the awesome opportunity to pair with Shanna Jestice of Ruffles and Rouge Events to create an amazing wedding inspiration shoot. We did a custom invitation suite, menus, programs, a banner and favors. We also had a small hand in creating some of the other decor details. (and Ruffles and Rouge Events rocked it with their styling!)

Wow, can't believe its been a whole month since I last blogged! My apologies! I had been frantically working to prepare for Be True Designs to be in the Knoxville Women's Expo that was last week so that took up a lot of time, I've been preparing for an amazing inspiration shoot with Ruffles and Rouge Events and La Dolce Vita Studio next week, and now we're in the middle of moving. Like almost in the middle of 'where is that shirt?, is it in this house or that one?" Thankfully we're doing a massive, move the furniture to the other house on Saturday. So hopefully life will be back to normal after that! But the task at hand today is to wish you a fabulous St. Patrick's Day! I know many of you will be celebrating ( I'll probably be packing!), but I hope you enjoy it! I love this day especially because I can wear my favorite color from head to toe without any judgements!

Be True Designs: La Dolce Vita Logo Design

I am so lucky to have some amazingly talented friends. And every once and awhile they ask for my assistance. Melanie and Bradford Watson, who are our dear friends, are the fab photography duo of La Dolce Vita Studio. Their work is amazing and beautiful. Towards the end of last year we got together and came up with a new logo and brand for their company. Melanie sent me this inpspiration board for the style and what she was thinking, something vintage, but modern, feminine but masculine:

The best part of this project was that these kids wanted to go all out and get some beautiful letterpress business cards and note cards. Here's how they turned out (sorry for the iphone quality!)

It's official!

So it's pretty much official. We're going to be homeowners...again. If you didn't already know,we actually still own a home in Jacksonville, Florida. It was our first 'home', even though its a condo. (which is pretty much of what everything is down there) Someone said to me "It must be nice to have 2 homes. Its very House Hunter International of you." Well its not like we use the one in Jax. It works while we have a renter. And thankfully we have been blessed with one taking our place since we left Jacksonville over 2 years ago. It's a pretty scary thing to move forward and actually purchase a new home in Knoxville. But to pay a just a little more a month than we pay in rent right now, its the choice we're making. So after months of searching and searching, we have found our new home:

It was once waaaay out of our price range, but since its such a 'buyer's market' now, it was easy to negotiate. Plus the current owners have already moved to Indiana for jobs and were dying to sell it, so it worked out!

It's pretty large and although I'm uber excited about it, I've already started stressing about decorating. Since we've been married there has been a lot of red in our home. Well news flash, I'm over red. And have been for a while, but have been unable to do anything about it.

My plan is to blog about my ideas over the next couple week's I'll show you what I have in mind and get your opinion!

Oh and PS - yea, those ARE plantation shutters. They're throughout the entire house! Squeal!

Time to get organized!

I have been in such a funk pretty much the whole month of January. I don't know if its because I've probably only seen the sun once or twice this month and I'm starting to contract SAD or if things are just getting overwhelming. Either way I had an epiphany last week. I need to get organized. I need to set goals and achieve them. I don't need to let the 'fear' of what I need to do get in the way. So I spent maybe a day and a half trying to figure out the best way for me to achieve this. Normally I have a huge notebook that is maxed out with things I need to do. Its pretty daunting to keep marking things off and it seems like it never changes. It never gets smaller. Its an animal that only keeps growing.

So I starting reading the Making Things Happen blog, Millie Holloman's Get It Together book and figured out what works best for me to actually get my work done efficiently and effectively. Here it is, plain and simple. 2 lists.

The Momma list:

The 'master list' that is split into sections: Things to Do, Be True Designs, B.Creative Company, Twist Designs, and the other two sections are left open for any additional big projects I'm working on. Like this week its Senior Grad Templates and Knoxville Womens Expo. Each section has listed everything that I need complete in priority order. The goal is to refresh this list every Monday morning.

The Baby list:

This is a small post it. It holds no more than 8 line items. That is the max amount of 'to do's' I'm giving myself in a day. That way it is not overwhelming to look at or to achieve. The goal here is to refresh this list every evening, for the work that is to be done for the next day. So when I come in, list is ready and I can just get straight to work. Designed by Wink, Honey and Mackies Ice Cream shop has the most fun and adorable packaging design. I really love the silhouettes of the children on the cups. That design would make make a great invitation or print to hang in a kid's room!

No super pretty blog post. Sadly, I have too much going on today! One of which is the purchase of a new home (see blurry and non intrusive photo of it above!). We think we found 'the one'. We are on counter offer no. 3, and its down to us deciding if this final price (which is what we already said we'd max on) is good or if we want to say no and go elsewhere. I really do love the house and think its a God thing that its available and the owners are going as low as they are. As I keep telling people it's 'Erin and Bob ready'. Meaning there is not really anything we'd change to it. Well except the adding of furniture since its larger than our current place. But its a huge decision to make, so today we're praying for clarity and guidance! Will let you know how it all turns out!
