Well it's finally happened! After over a year of trying to figure out a new brand, I have a new website! It was a longer process than I thought it would be, but it's here! So I'm breaking out the bubbly and cupcakes and I'd love for you to check it out - the new Be True Designs!
With the new site also comes a new blog. Sadly I will not longer be blogging at this site, but you can see all my happenings at my new blog, perfectly called Above All Be True.
Thank you so much for your love and support over the past 2 years, I've truly felt blessed to be able to do what I love.

We were so excited when the fabulous duo of Love is a Big Deal and Vintage My Wedding asked us to be a part of this amazing Rock Quarry shoot. Our details matched perfect with the inspiration of agate, precious stones and metals and the idea of soft and romantic with an edgy feel. We used ecru paper with touches of gold and mint throughout the wedding suite, escort cards and favor tags. And check out that cake! Feast your eyes and the beauty of this shoot here!

We're on a roll lately with branding clients, and one of my most favorite as of late has been this company. Low Country Lane is a modern take on southern classics for 'little belles & beaus'. Emily, the owner wanted something that wasn't cheesy and bright like some children's clothing companies are, but instead classic, sweet and southern. With a very relaxing color palette we added some seersucker and linen patterns to represent that southern state of mind!
We are working on a website right now, but Low Country Lane is starting their sales on Facebook this week! Totally different from most auctions because the clothes are more high end yet still affordable and there is a week long sale. If you're a mom and want some stylish kiddo's I would suggest you check them out here!

Well it's been a long time coming, but I'm finally revealing my new logo and branding! I tell you what, being a designer and coming up with your own brand could quite possibly be the hardest thing ever! Thankfully I have a few good designer friends who gave me some support in my design decisions.
So let me explain. It wasn't that my previous branding was bad, in fact I liked it. I just felt earlier this year that it wasn't really a representation of me. I do like the fun, bright colors but my heart flutters for more of a bold and eccentric palette. I wanted my brand to depict my own style - classic, colorful, glamorous, southern, playful and chic. That's a tall order to show in a logo! So I started with a brand board, of images that I love. From there I focused on the color palette, keeping the green that I originally had, but making it a bit more mature.
And then boom!! the new Be True Designs logo and coordinating branding was born. I hope that you like it, but honestly, I love it and feel its a great representation of me and my design style, so that's what matters most.
In the near future you'll see new packaging, website, blog, online shop and even a complete redo of my studio/office (with the help of the fab girls of Poplin & Queen).
So raise your glass (or celebratory cupcake) - Here's to the new Be True Designs!
