Nautical Baby Sip + See!

I got back from Charleston on Monday after throwing a wonderful party for one of my besties! Caroline and her husband Patrick had baby Chase in late December, so this was a way for the 'aunts' to come visit and to celebrate the new little man. I took inspiration from a print that I made Caroline for Chase's room for the invitation and used the primary colors, stripes and anchors throughout the affair!

My favorite was the anchor cookies custom made by KJ Cookies in Knoxville!

I bought a galvanized tub from Lowe's and painted his name and anchors on it, we stuffed it to the brim with monogrammed clothes (since no one knew the sex until he was born)! It's the perfect gift, because it can later be used for a toy basket!

I made the banner with paper and a Pinterest inspired yarn letter:

In lieu of gifts, we asked guests to bring books for Chase's library! And he stocked up! (the ones shown were only from the hostesses!)

The girls with Caroline, Patrick and the man of the hour, baby Chase!
